もう少し観光客じゃなくローカルの人が集まる場所に行ってみたいなあと思い、Hammamで元気をチャージした私は、宿から少しだけ離れたもっとローカルの人の集まるスークに行くことにした。

ここでは、例えば精肉店が肉を捌いている後ろの奥のカウンターに、生きた鶏達がいる。散髪屋に人が集まる。露店に並ぶ野菜は傷んでいる。そんな世界。私はひたすら写真を撮りまくった。

After the hammam, I wanted to see more local side of the city, so I decided to head to a souk little further away.

People were gathering in barbershops. The Vegetables at the stalls weren’t fresh. In the butcher shops, while meat was being cut at the counter, there were live chickens at the back…

I just kept taking photos.
