On the way to Chefchaouen, I made a quick stop at Cafe Baba in Tangier.

This cafe is known for its connection to famous Beat writers, musicians, and artists. Inside the cafe, there were photos of visitors such as Keith Richards, Anthony Bourdain and some members of European royalty, displayed on the walls.

Even it’s such a famous cafe, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. People were spending their time peacefully.

As I was sipping my mint tea and looking out the view, I felt like trying a cigarette. I had taken a few puffs before, but this was my first time smoking an entire one.

I inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly, imagining the writers and artists who had once sat in the same cafe. Maybe this was how they spent their afternoons – thinking, creating, and searching for inspiration.

My mind felt a little clearer… or maybe I was just imagining it.

But… it taste terrible.

I don’t think I can follow the same path of those great artists.

Well,, I would rather find my own way.

After enjoying the cafe, I left Tangier.

If I will have a chance to come back here again, I want to stay a little longer and explore in a slower pace.
